Dating a chic that is into fitness seems to throw men for a loop. Let me tell you, it isn’t rocket science. We are women too. Here are 10 tips to consider when dating, or aspiring to date, a super fit chick!

We spend a lot of time lifting and we need real food to stay strong and powerful. So don’t comment on the amount of food we can consume. We train and we eat!

#3 WE ARE STRONG, CAPABLE, AND INDEPENDENT.

We can deadlift more than our body weight and we are always up for a push-up competition. But we still do not like taking out the trash, so make life easy and just carry it out with you.

We will probably reject the help, but it feels nice to have someone offer. This will set you apart from the men that assume because we have muscles we would not like chivalry.

The biggest difference is we can have more things that can make us sad… failing on a set that should have been easy, not running a PR, missing a meal, forgetting to pack protein, etc. So always be prepared to listen, offer a positive word, and/ or give us your whey post-workout.

#8 TAKING CONTROL IS OKAY! WE ARE STRONG WILLED WITH DOMINATE PERSONALITY TYPES.

However, we do not want a man that is a unable to make a choice. We like to see that a man can take control and that we do not have to be in control of everything. There is something a bit sexy about a man that can respectfully take control. This is the kind of man, even the strongest of women can feel safe with.

#9 DON’T BE JEALOUS OR UNTRUSTING. IF WE SAY WE ARE AT THE GYM. WE ARE AT THE GYM.

This is our second home and just because we spend a lot of time there does not mean we are interested in someone at the gym. We are lifting, sweating, and pushing fitness boundaries to the limits. We don’t workout, we train! Do not be alarmed if we do not respond to your text, emails or calls during this time.

#10 CHILL OUT, HAVE FUN AND RELAX. WE LIKE TO LAUGH AND DO THINGS OUTSIDE OF THE GYM, TOO.
