“I’m a sucker for a prominent female lead.”
Name three music artists you’ve been listening to lately: N.E.R.D, Rihanna, SZA.
Favorite Movies:. I’m a sucker for a prominent female lead.
Where’s the coolest place you’ve traveled to for work? Did you get to party at all? I once worked on a reality television show which had me travel all around Australia with 11 other females. We visited all the big cities and small rural country towns also. You put that many girls together and partying is inevitable. We had a LOT of fun, and may have got into a little trouble with the producers…
Best things about Bikini Modeling? Worst things? One of the best things I find about this new found hobby of mine is that it gives me more structure to my life, exciting new goals to aim for, and incredibly inspiring people to do life with. One of the worst things is the potential to adopt a negative mindset about the truly aesthetic nature of it.
Any advice for those looking to get into modeling? Because it is so so aesthetically driven, my advice to anyone wanting to take it on is to do some self-discovery to see if its really something you want to do. If it’s solely about how you look, in time, it won’t be sustainable or rewarding. Be grounded, humble, dedicated, and once you embrace the process you can let go of the outcomes.

What keeps you busy? I am a personal trainer, group fitness instructor and health coach for most of my time. On the side, I love to moonlight as a cabaret burlesque performer.
What is your view on tattoos? Tattoos can be wonderful, personally meaningful, intricate, a beautiful art form and can really suit some people. I also find them very attractive on men. However I don’t have any myself, and don’t see that I’ll get any in the near future.
What do you do to stay in shape, or are you just a genetic freak? I was blessed genetically with great shape. I got it from my Mama. However, I am definitely not naturally lean or muscular. I weight train 5 days a week. Nutrition also plays a huge part in my physique, as I’m not the kind of lady who can eat anything and it not affect me. I keep it clean, simple and organic.
Are you interested in or ever tried any extreme sports? I’ll give anything a go! I don’t think I’m necessarily tough, but I like to think I’m a badass at heart. I need an extreme sports buddy to try all these with. Any takers?
Favorite part of your body? My hands.
Favorite part of a man’s body? Arms.
Bars, clubs, both, or none? Neither.
Favorite beer, cocktail, and/or shot? When I’m not on prep, I’ll enjoy an Espresso Martini (or three!).

Are you excited about the release of this issue of VIGOROUS with you in it? I remember in 2011 saying to myself that one day I was going to be featured in a fitness magazine, so this is definitely a dream come true. I’m so honored to be a part of this release and can only hope that I can continue to do this community proud, be a role model and perhaps one day make a cover!
First thing that comes to mind when you hear…
…”Winter”: Layers till the point of looking like the Michelin Man. This Australian Soul does NOT like the NYC cold!
…”Spring”: Gimme all the flowers.
…”Sex”: When it’s good, it’s great. When it’s mediocre, I can go without.
…”Social Media”: Find authenticity.
What’s next for you? Working on my business plans to help women feel empowered to be their best selves, and working on my own professional and physical development. I also can’t wait to take to the stage again and compete. This upcoming season looks very promising.

Anything else you would like to add? I’m super passionate about educating people about nutrition and how to eat to feel food freedom. A huge part of that is being aware of how sugar is metabolized in your body and also educating yourself on how to properly read labels.
Sugar is lurking where you least expect it! There is also a huge emphasis in the fitness industry to buy supplements, powders, and ‘healthy’ bars and snacks. I believe proper nutrition is found in real, whole and natural foods and that is the path to food freedom. VIGOROUS
