Name three music artists you’ve been listening to lately: Dance is my first love, so I tend to follow music that energizes me and makes me want to move. But lately, the artists that have appeared quite often in my playlist are 50 Cent, Kendrick Lamar and Kanye West.

What are some of your professional accomplishments? (modeling or otherwise) As of now, winning my IPL Pro Card has been my biggest Professional accomplishment. When I first started competing, I didn’t think I would make it this far. I compete because I love the challenge it brings.

“Am I a Bikini Model? It’s crazy to even say!”

Best things about Bikini Modeling? Worst things? Am I a Bikini Model? It’s crazy to even say! That might be the best thing about it! The worst thing is I can’t have pancakes whenever I want. [smiles]

Any advice for those looking to get into modeling? Initially, my end game was not to be a model. My end game was to be the best I could be at what I loved to do! I learned from my experiences, listened to my coach, followed my heart and here I am!

I’m not saying it was easy by any means. It’s an enormous amount of work and there are always tough spots to struggle through. You just have to trust the process and enjoy the ride. Maybe the secret is that simple. Trust your journey!

What is the motto or mantra you try to live your life by? Never give up and always take time for yourself. At times, it may seem everything is working against you. Life can be crazy and stressful and overwhelming.

“I’ve always been drawn to tattoos and got my first when I was 25. The most recent is my sleeve…”

What is your view on tattoos? Love tattoos! They’re liberating and interesting and beautiful. I have several, but I’m not sure how I would count them. I have two small ones, a large one on my ribs and a full sleeve that’s not quite finished. I’ve always been drawn to tattoos and got my first when I was 25. The most recent is my sleeve which I started last year for my 40th birthday. For years, tattoos were viewed as unprofessional and taboo. Times are different now and there is a much greater acceptance of self-expression. I can’t wait to get more!

What is your dream job? Honestly, my dream job would be to live a happy life doing what I love, without any financial stress! I love educating people about health and fitness and helping them to feel good about themselves. I love spending time with friends and family. And, I love to work out as well. Now, if I won the lottery, I could afford to train people for free! Not to mention, I would be able to spoil my loved ones! A silly dream, but it’s classic, and will never get old!

What do you do to stay in shape, or are you just a genetic freak? I actually work really hard to stay in shape. I eat very clean, track macros, and follow a demanding routine at the gym. This entire regimen is mapped out by my coach, George Kitmiridis. He’s the best! I have frequent check-ins to make sure I’m responding to the plan appropriately.

  • Favorite Color: Red.

Are you excited about the release of this issue of VIGOROUS with you in it? I’m absolutely ecstatic! I have never been in a magazine before, and couldn’t be more excited!

First thing that comes to mind when you hear

…”Donald Trump”: No comment. [laughs]
…”Winter”: Snow storms! Love them!

…”Spring”: Summer is almost here!

…”Sex”: More great exercise that does a body good! [laughs]

…”Marijuana”: Should be legalized.

…”Social Media”: Is quite entertaining, but shouldn’t be taken so seriously.

What’s next for you? Not only would I like to see how much further I can go with my competition and fitness modeling career, I would also like to get back to training clients. I love helping people reach their fitness goals.
