I LOVE TATTOOS, BUT WAS ALWAYS INDECISIVE ABOUT WHAT AND WHERE…I KIND OF FOUND IT UNIQUE AND SEXY IN A WAY THAT ALL I HAVE IS MY BARE SKIN.”
Name three music artists you’ve been listening to lately: Maluma, Cardi B, Dan + Shay. I sing their songs all day and very off key.
Favorite Books/Magazines: VIGOROUS!
Favorite Movies: Dirty Dancing has been my favorite for as long as I can remember! I want to say it’s cause of the storyline and great music/dancing, but mainly it’s cause I have always had the biggest crush on Patrick Swayze.
What are some of your professional accomplishments? (modeling or otherwise) My most recent accomplishment and also the one I’m most proud of was placing 2nd in Evening Gown at the IPL Sunshine State competition in Daytona Beach! Not only was this my first time ever competing in a fitness competition, but also by the day of the competition I was exactly 8 months postpartum. When I signed up I was super nervous. I was thinking all these other girls have better bodies and more time on their hands to really shine on stage more than me. Then I remembered what I tell my clients that I coach…it is not overnight, but over time. So I changed my mindset, trusted the process, and crushed it at the gym and all while being a mom of two! The day I walked on stage I was so proud of my transformation (not only physically but mentally) and I just felt like I could really inspire other women to become their best selves. With that in mind, my confidence was really showing through on stage and I was blessed with 2nd place!
Any cool modeling experiences to share? Prior to having kids I actually use to do beauty pageants. I competed in the Miss Universe System and went as far as Miss Florida USA. This is where my love for the stage and total body confidence really began. I like to think this was a stepping stone to what would be a new found love for Bikini Competitions!
Where’s the coolest place you’ve traveled to for work? Did you get to party at all? Traveling is actually what I do for work! I’m a Flight Attendant so seeing new places and meeting new people is part of my job description. My favorite place that I’ve traveled to by far is Tel-Aviv, Israel! I was able to float in the Dead Sea, ride a camel and try some of the most incredible food ever. I was even confused for a local which I thought was pretty awesome. I did party a little but shhhh…what happens in Tel-Aviv stays in Tel-Aviv!
Best things about Bikini Modeling? Worst things? The best thing about bikini modeling by far is the rush of being onstage! After months of prep and anticipation the second your heels walk on stage you suddenly become so present and in the moment. You are more than ready to show off all that hard work and sexy bod that you’ve accomplished. Now add some killer background music, and BOOM, you’ve become Beyoncé. The worst thing about bikini modeling has got to be when the competition is over and you feel a little lost. You spend so many months having all your time and energy going into prep that once it is over you’re stuck in a state of, “well now what?” It’s really a crazy feeling, but on the bright side there’s always another competition!
Any advice for those looking to get into modeling? Nothing good comes easy! It’s going to take many long nights, many gym sessions, many no’s, and many days where you’re almost ready to quit. DON’T. Put your blinders on, keep grinding and remember that there’s only one YOU and that you is a beautiful badass woman ready to take on anything that comes her way. With that positive mindset and determination you will achieve whatever you want.
What is the motto or mantra you try to live your life by? “I shall either find a way or make one.” It’s very fitting since I’m very stubborn (naturally in a Colombian woman) in the sense that I don’t let anything stop me from my goals. Even when I’m not sure of how to do something or it seems near impossible, once my mind is set, I literally will either find a way or make one.
What keeps you busy? First thing that keeps me the busiest are my two babies! I have a 3 year old boy, Eli, and an almost 1 year old girl, Katalina. Being a mom is honestly the toughest and most rewarding job ever! They are my life. I live simply to make them proud and to be able to provide a happy and healthy future for them. The second would be my online health/wellness coaching! My husband and I began our online business about a year ago after getting some pretty incredible results (I lost 80 lbs. and he lost 40 lbs.). Now we help other people get sexy, get energized and feel confident! The best part, aside from helping others get these results, is we do it on “our time” so we never have to be away from our kids!
What is your view on tattoos? I love tattoos, but was always indecisive about what and where. I’d go from wanting a quarter sleeve on my arm one day to just a scribble on my rib. That battle went on for many years. Soon all my friends had tattoos and I realized I was the only one without. So I kind of found it unique and sexy in a way that all I have is my bare skin. Maybe one day that will change (if I ever make up my mind) but for now I like it that way.
What three clothing items can’t you live without? Sneakers, Yoga Pants and a Bikini! Sneakers are must haves for any holidays or birthdays! They go great with my yoga pants obsession which is a majority of my wardrobe. Bikini’s, well, I live in South Florida so I guess it’s almost like our uniform for living down here. There’s usually always one in my purse or car just in case of a last minute beach trip!
What is your dream job? I love my job currently as a flight attendant and I would call it my dream job. Being able to meet new people, have crazy adventures and never live the same twice is really a beautiful thing. Now at the same time I’m working on my own online coaching business and as much as I love flying, I love my kids more. So my dream job now is being able to be a present parent and never miss a moment of their lives.
What do you do to stay in shape, or are you just a genetic freak? I wish I was a genetic freak, but I am simply a product of 80% nutrition and 20% exercise. I was 200 lbs. after having my son and without finding the right nutrition I know I wouldn’t have the body I have now. Nutrition was key and once I started fueling my body properly I was more motivated to hit the gym.
After the first glimpse of progress it became an addiction and a lifestyle. As far as exercise is concerned, I always loved running and now I love lifting weights. Running has always been my stress release but lifting weights makes me stronger. Not only physically, but mentally as well! Just when I think I can’t go anymore, BAM another 10 lbs. was added and I killed it.
Are you interested in or ever tried any extreme sports? I’ve done a lot of these already. I have sky dived, snowboarded, and rock climbed! I have a bucket list of a lot of extreme sports come to think of it. My favorite by far has been sky diving. A one of a kind experience I think everyone must do!

What’s next for you? I’m enjoying some time off before getting into the mindset of doing another competition. But I definitely see one in my future! Right now, keeping up my fitness and nutrition and helping others look and feel great is my priority!
Anything else you would like to add? I’d like to thank my husband for being my biggest support system during my prep and to let him know I’m super proud he competed as well! Also, thank you to Jen Michelli for creating such a great team that we were fortunate to be apart of. Lastly, thanks to Herbalife for changing my husband and I’s life for the better! VIGOROUS
