“BIKINI MODELING IS SO FUN TO ME. YOU CAN MODEL ALMOST ANYWHERE AND BE ABLE TO EXPRESS YOURSELF IN SUCH A CONFIDENT WAY.“
Name three music artists you’ve been listening to lately:
The Weeknd, Tame Impala, Rüfüs Du Sol.
All of R.H. Sin’s poem books. Girl, Wash Your Face by Rachel Hollis. The Universe Has Your Back by Gabrielle Bernstein.
Scarface, Cast Away, Pulp Fiction, Shawshank Redemption.
What are some of your professional accomplishments? (modeling or otherwise):
Becoming a Bikini Pro at my very first show!
Where’s the coolest place you’ve traveled to for work? Did you get to party at all?
I’ve never had an opportunity to travel for work, but hopefully some day I’ll have that privilege.
Best things about Bikini Modeling? Worst things?
Bikini modeling is so fun to me. You can model almost anywhere and be able to express yourself in such a confident way. I guess one of the worst things is to not find a bikini when you truly need one. –laughs- When I first started prep my coach needed me to take transformation photos in a bikini, and I did not own one at the time. So I had to run around the mall trying to find one during Christmas time while everyone was shopping! No stores sold bikinis during that time obviously. So all I can say is stock up on bikinis because you never know when you’ll need one. And yes, even winter time!
Any advice for those looking to get into modeling?
Do not be afraid of the camera. Do not worry what people have to say, because you are fully capable of doing it. Keep your options open when it comes to different types of modeling. You may like the look of one category, but may like another. Heck do them both or all! Do your research and ask questions. If you think you searched enough…search some more. In the beginning of my modeling career I would go to runway shows, watch YouTube videos or even look at my favorite supermodels’ portfolios.
What is the motto or mantra you try to live your life by?
I try to come up with a new motto/mantra every day, but as of lately I hold this quote close to me.
“The universe is working on something great for you. Stay patient. Remain FOCUSED.”
What keeps you busy?
Training at the gym for my next competition. I sometimes forget what it’s like to be busy outside of the gym, but I can’t complain!
What is your view on tattoos?
If I could tattoo my whole body I would, but because I am so indecisive on artwork and placement for now I only have one.
What three clothing items can’t you live without?
Hats, sunglasses and coats
What is your dream job?
Originally it was being a flight attendant, but due to COVID-19 and getting into bodybuilding I’ve shifted my mind away from that idea. Now I am focused working my way to creating my own team and training women that want to become a Bikini Competitor or the next Bikini Pro. It would be amazing to be able to travel with my clients and watch all of their performances as well.
What do you do to stay in shape, or are you just a genetic freak?
Growing up people would joke about my genetics. But once I started going to the gym slowly but surely I learned exactly what my body needs and how it responds with certain exercises and foods. At the end of the day it comes down to eating clean or with moderation, drinking at least a gallon of water a day, lifting heavy weights and early runs outside.
Are you interested in or ever tried any extreme sports? (bungee, skydiving, rock climbing, BMX, moto, snowboarding):
I would love to try all some day! Skydiving in Dubai has been on my bucket list for awhile now.
•Favorite Color: Yellow.
•Favorite Food: My least favorite question during prep! I love So Delicious snickerdoodle ice cream.
•Dream Car: G-Wagon. Red and white interior.
•Are you a fast or slow driver? Let’s just say I’m cautious. –laughs-
•Favorite part of your body? My lower body has really made a great transformation. But I do admire my shoulders and back as well.
•Favorite part of a man’s body? Definitely not their brain. –laughs- I’m just kidding. I’m going to go with chest and back.
•Bars, clubs, both or none? Both, but you will find me more at the bars. •Favorite beer, cocktail and/or shot? Adios MF. Yes, I went there.
•Favorite city/country to party in? I haven’t traveled enough to find a “favorite.” Living in Las Vegas all of my life has done enough for me. I would love to explore elsewhere that can prove me different.
Are you excited about the release of this issue of VIGOROUS with you in it?
More than excited! Never would I have thought from months to even a few days ago I would land in VIGOROUS Magazine. I’m extremely happy I can also experience this with my other friends as well. We all worked so hard to get to this moment in time, and I’m so proud of us.
“EVERY PRO WAS ONCE AN AMATEUR. EVERY EXPERT WAS ONCE A BEGINNER. SO DREAM BIG AND START NOW.”
First thing that comes to mind when you hear…
…”Donald Trump”: Next question.
…”Winter”: Sweater weather.
…”Spring”: Cherry blossom trees.
…”Social Media”: A distraction.
What’s next for you?:
As far as I know…to keep training and earn more titles as a Bikini Competitor. Train others to reach their goals with fitness and their well-being. Next year during off-season I would love to travel to find a new location to live and start new. Other than that I have other great opportunities on the way. But for now I have to go with the flow and enjoy the process.
Anything else you would like to add?
Thank you for featuring me in this edition of VIGOROUS. I hope you all enjoyed my answers to this Q&A. Once again, I never would have thought I would be featured in more than one magazine this year. Anything is possible as long as you put in the work, and within no time you will receive what you deserve. “Every Pro was once an Amateur. Every expert was once a beginner. So dream big and start now.” VIGOROUS
